Mary Murray Food Pantry (MMFP)
This Food Pantry is named after Mary Murray, the former Director of Benton House Over 21. Mary’s undying work was saintly. Since its inception and throughout the pandemic, she was tasked with helping to keep the food pantry open and running. In the spirit of her passion and zeal, this food pantry will continue to provide services to families in need. Our vision is to dutifully impact hunger and food insecurity needs in the community until those needs are alleviated. Our mission is to provide nutritious food and resources for the community through service, partnerships and innovation. We will model good stewardship in our work with dignity, equity and convenience.

After School Matters
For over 10 years, Benton House has formed a partnership with After School Matters. ASM offers hands-on experience with skilled instructors to develop job skills with teens. The programs provide the space for teens to be creative, to work as a team, to build self-confidence, to have mutual respect, and to be responsible. The current ASM program is Audio Electronics for beginners and advanced level students.

Illinois Youth Investment Program
IYIP is a career pathway program, focused on job training, job placement and job mentorship. Program participants must be between 16-24 years of age. CIRCLE Foundation engages with numerous community partners to provide employment and career pathway training in high demand industry areas. IYIP mentors give supportive case management and facilitate job readiness activities that support skill-development and employment resources via the Illinois Worknet.

New Programs
CF-Benton House will be working toward opening up health and wellness programs in the near future. We will also work toward providing job certification and training to the programs offered. CF Benton House is open to add new activities and programs that will support the community. We love partnering to provide collaborative services for the community we serve. Gym Building
Our Gym was recently remodeled and used for organized sports, teams and league rentals. All youth sport participants are required to be supervised by adults over the age of 25. Please call the main office or email to inquire about rental costs.
